This is determined by your patient population and shower policies. If your patients or athletes are required to shower prior to entering the pool, it will reduce the number of times that a pool must be drained and cleaned. As you can imagine make-up, hair gel and body lotions on your clients will increase the frequency of filter and pool cleaning. At first, when your volume of patients is lower you will need to drain and clean your pool twice a year. But as your patient load increases it may become necessary to drain and clean it quarterly.
